Most extended health benefit plans will fully or partially cover counselling sessions with a counsellor who is registered (RCC) and practicing in B.C.
However, coverage varies significantly between insurers and individual plans — things you’ll want to check include whether your plan recognizes “Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)”, how many sessions are eligible each year, and the reimbursement rate.
You’ll receive a receipt after each session, which you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement if direct billing is not available.

Extended Individual Counselling Session
In-person (Abbotsford), virtual, or phone call
$236.25 — 90 minutes
A longer session provides more time to process and do intensive reflection, exploration, and planning. If a 50 minute session feels too short, this could be a good option.
Here to walk with you through things like:
healing from trauma and abuse, including childhood trauma, religious trauma, intimate partner abuse, coercive control, and experiences of post-separation abuse
understanding anxiety — whether general, social, or academic — and building tools for calm and confidence
navigating depression, burnout, and overwhelming stress
strengthening relationships with family, friends, peers, and co-workers through healthy boundaries, communication, and conflict support
growing self-worth and self-compassion, and untangling patterns like self-criticism, people-pleasing, and perfectionism
moving through major life transitions with support and clarity
I strive to create a supportive, respectful, and trauma-informed space where you feel truly seen and heard. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Person-Centred Therapy, each session is tailored to help you process emotions, build resilience, and reconnect with your strengths as you move toward your hopes and goals.
